I'm going to our Xmas bash on London Road tonight and as I won't be drinking I'm thinking of taking the car. With this in mind is it possible to use the Waitrose car park (I'll be arriving around 8ish, leaving around 11) - or would I expect to return and see it clamped or worse?

I think they put barriers across after Waitrose has closed. For free parking we go into the No Frills car park handy for us as often if there is a gig one will not drink, then can get straight back home.

Think twice if you're considering parking on the streets inbetween London Road and Bramhall Lane. There has been quite a lot of glass on the roads round there lately, indicating cars being broken into.

Or maybe there's lots of double glazing salemen with anger management issues?
park on napier street next to Greens and outside the EDS building.. I think the control hours only run till 6:30pm. The security staff do regular walks around the EDS building and have cameras pointed onto the street way..so it should help ward off any thieves.

Why not park on London Road?

These will be the same security guards that watched someone walk into the car park, cut the lock off a bike and ride out on it :hihi:
Park on any single yellow lines or parking bays in sheffield.
They're free after half 6.
Sheffield City council car parks are free after half 8.
Don't park in no frills, my mate got a parking ticket last week.
Thanks for all the help and advice - most useful! (Note to self: avoid Waitrose..)
