Can you stick that on your list of Pantos. Sultana 05-12-2007, 13:36 I chose Aladdin, but Cinderella comes a very close second - Oh Yes It Does! cgksheff 05-12-2007, 13:44 Maris Piper is my favourite, but a Désirée will suffice. HappyHoosier 05-12-2007, 13:50 I like "Beauty & the Beast" ... because the woman is actually the hero in that one!:) Agent Orange 05-12-2007, 14:02 What is Scroge? Whatever it is... I'm voting for it :P *binty* 05-12-2007, 14:07 Aladdin for me. HappyHoosier 05-12-2007, 14:08 What is Scroge? Whatever it is... I'm voting for it :P He's Cinerella's brother!:P Snook 05-12-2007, 14:10 What is Scroge? Whatever it is... I'm voting for it :P That would be A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens... and is nothing like a panto. Why is there no option for 'they are all terrible once you have passed the age of eight!'? Sultana 05-12-2007, 14:13 Panto is wonderful escapism - fun for any age - you just have to throw yourself into it & join in. I'm off to see Cinderella at the Lyceum in January! Agent Orange 05-12-2007, 14:18 That would be A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens... and is nothing like a panto. Why is there no option for 'they are all terrible once you have passed the age of eight!'? Trying to imagine Scrooge as a Panto... *shudders at the thought* Helly 05-12-2007, 14:21 I've never been able to stando pantos. Even as a child all that 'I can't hear you' stuff really grates. Isn't once enough! Still, I'm taking the cubs to see Cinderella this year so we'll see! Treatment 05-12-2007, 14:31 The Gordon Brown and David Cameron show- when even the winner is a loser. steveb2007 05-12-2007, 14:37 Aladdin for me. It's my 4 year old daughters first time at the theatre and I'm hoping she loves it.:D Rich 05-12-2007, 16:20 I love any Panto. I remember seeing Peter Pan somewhere a few years ago starring some extremely fit girl in tight leggings as Pan! And stuff like Cinderella or Snow White's good, the girls in the title role are usually a bit nice! I'm still waiting for a production of Snow White in UK though starring Susan Kennedy off Neighbours as the evil Queen (she's a bit old to be Snow White, despite the fact she doesn't look it). nick2 05-12-2007, 16:25 Please add Corronation Street/Eastenders Christmas Specials to the list. whitewitch 05-12-2007, 22:34 i dont have a favourite, im taking little witch to see cinderella on boxing day at the lyceum, been taking her for the past 4 years, we have enjoyed every one of them:) cressida 05-12-2007, 22:38 Peter Pan oh to be able to fly *binty* 05-12-2007, 22:46 Does anyone know how much the tickets are to go and see Cinderella at the Lyceum? Treatment 06-12-2007, 04:11 Peter Pan oh to be able to fly He is even more cool since he took to wearing Split Crotch Panties. Raeven 06-12-2007, 11:35 Went to see my first panto aged 25 and now go most years (deprived child, everyone say 'Aaahhh'!!). Cinderella's my definite fave - I love the corny jokes, and am rather partial to a man in drag - and you get at least two in Cinderella with the Ugly Sisters! Code13 06-12-2007, 11:43 I am still trying to get my head around the other thread inviting us to a "Panto Nativity". nick2 06-12-2007, 11:44 I am still trying to get my head around the other thread inviting us to a "Panto Nativity".
