Hey,

As a newbie wannabe film maker myself I also have loads of ideas and things like that. It got to the point thwere i knew this was what I wanted to do and so now i have a laptop for video editing, a broadcast standard DV camcorder and am in process of getting a tripod with a smooth (read: expensive) head action.

I've learnt a lot of the technical stuff in my spare time and now I just need to get some filming done. my only problem is that atm i'm really busy and seem to have lost my visual creativity.

Have tyou done any filming yourself, do you have any technical knowledge in the form of sound or lighting?

PM me if you want to discuss film ideas or how I could help a fellow film maker.

I want to make a music video, im currently making a DVD for the band, thats the easy part (menus, chapters, etc,) we have footage from several live gigs that we wish to keep as live video gigs and are not bothered it came from a 500 quid camera, it looks and sounds ok. I do however want to dub the audio from a studio session on to a video, easy! thats not a problem, the thing we really need is some one who knows what theyre doing with a camera and some one to direct, prompt etc. It would also be nice to include on the disc some level of documentary, extra video, that sort of thing.

Creative enough a challenge for you??

I'm working with a group of youngsters who are making a film soon. We'll need all the help we can get. We do have a film maker on board that we've worked with before but our next project is much bigger.
It'll be in April, the script is almost complete, payment will mostly be 'in kind' (equipment etc)but it could be a great experience for you if you want to get involved.
PM me if you would like to know more.

Furthermore, the woman who I'm working with
(film school graduate) also has some equipment and a few other ideas in the pipeline, could be worthwhile making her aquaintance, through me and my film of course :)
I have a few projects on through the year and contacts are always useful.

I need actors next, possibly a young woman aged 18 - 25 ish, young looking and one fella 18 - 30ish. Would also benefit from a second fella 18 - 40. Characters are not of great depth but should be fun.
Preferably skilled with 'some' experience, even a little is enough.
Happy to hear from anyone who fits the bill.
:) :) :)
