They were told by the police not to go anywhere near the bridge where the trouble happend yet they still did,am NOT condoning the Italians actions,i think they are worse than the turks and they are scum.

I'm a Liverpool fan so I'm no fan of the mancs, but what goes on in Rome is shocking. The Rome carabinieri are corrupt, simple as that. Liverpool won the 1984 European Cup final in Rome against Roma and after the game Liverpool fans were attacked by Roma fans and robbed by the police. In 2001 several Liverpool fans were stabbed in Rome and the same thing happened to Middlesborough fans in 2006. Then there have been two stabbing incidents involving Man Utd fans this year.

The Rome carabinieri contain lots of Roma fans and they either stand by and let opposition fans get attacked or actively participate under the pretence of "restoring order". It's corruption and should have been stopped a long time ago.
