hi just bought new pc case there is 2 digital thermometers fitted
inside there are 2 temp probes 1 for cpu and 1 for hdd does any one know were 2 fitt these.

personally I'd attach the cpu one to the top of the cpu heatsink and the disk one to the case of the hard drive, there may be better places though

the CPU one usually sticks on the under-side of the CPU (before you place it onto the board) - the thin cables are usually thin enough to go between the cpu pins..

the hdd one usually goes on the top of the hard drive where it would be the warmest (Just off center to where the motor would be to spin the disks)
