I'm going to try to
*Finish all (or most) WIPs for 1st Feb, as that's when the new season's Rowan comes out, and then I can start afresh!
* Knit my way through all of Cookie A's sock patterns on knitty. *Replace all my ready-made socks with hand knit ones.
*Learn how to make socks with two circulars.
*Get the stash under a semblance of control.

While I'm at it I'll discover a way to reverse climate change and have dinner with Lord Lucan. ;)

I plan to knit with some laceweight - a shawl or wrap thing for my aunt. That should keep me busy all year.

Hmmm, I plan to get back on the sock knitting bandwagon and use up some of the nice sock yarn I have. I also want to use up some of the mountain of laceweight I have to make some kind of a shawl or wrap. I also would like to learn socks on 2 circulars and actually make a top that fits me that I will actually wear :)

As well as a mountain of sock yarn to make into foot coverings, I'll finally be able to do my stripey mohair wrap (then have to choose project for stash of red mohair!). Also planning at least one baby blanket, some baby outfits (new neice or nephew on way), at least 2 bags, another jumper for my dog and a few other things!

I'm not allowed to think of too many specific projects until January 1st as it will distract me from my Christmas/New Year knitting :suspect: (which won't be finished til really last minute. :()

I have a number of White Lies Designs I wish to knit. Aimee ( I think) and Colette. Might even brave Filigree Lace. I have the Babette blanket and, thanks Gempud, I will try a sock wool blanket. Although I am tempted to do it in Aran. I will learn to sock knit properly ( I need to keep trying as I get the knack and stop and forget) and I will do some more design work. And i have to make my children their long promised afghans. The boys said any colour as long as it is black and red and Grace says be civilised with my colour choices. I have no idea what she means. I do have some amazing aran weight yarn and I will just have to plan something lovely for me. I have found some long cardi patterns. That will keep me going until February!!

I WILL make a hat! Now I've finished the gloves I can make a start...
I'll probably finish Eris too - I've done half the collar now
Then there's all the patterns I've been collecting from knitty and Magknits and so on that are saved on my hard drive just waiting :)

New years resolution: stop buying so much yarn as there just arent enough hours in the day! I expect I will break this one on 2nd January!

I also plan to think about our holiday in Corfu in May and decide which cotton cardis to knit for myself and Freya.

I'm going to learn how to rectify my mistakes, instead of frogging the whole lot.

1. I am going to weave in the ends to my Brioche throw, which is otherwise finished.

2. I am going to knit a pair of socks for myself with the posh yarn W4B got me many months ago.

3. I am going to make something other than an accessory (but I'm not quite sure what yet).

4. I am going to get rid of some of the yarn I have, which I know I will never knit with, and make room for some new stuff.

Does this have to be in 2008?

Have finished the shawl for my aunt, my first attempt with laceweight yarn and a circular needle (two firsts!) and it just needs blocking now - fab. It will go off to South Africa in time for her February birthday.

Am also knitting lots and lots of socks for me. Bliss.
