I notice in endcliffe park they are marking trees with red paint if they are to be chopped down and silver paint if they contain dead wood and need to be pruned.

Late on sunday afternoon I caught 3 lads (about 13/14 years old) painting their own red dots on trees by the first 'lake'.

I shouted at them and they ran away, but I hope the council or whoever is chopping these trees have some alternative way of knowing what trees are due to be felled or endcliffe park may well end up treeless!
