I want to buy some car shaped buttons, but haven't managed to find them in my usual craft shops. I know they exist as I have seen them on the web, but with p&p included they aren't really very affordable. Can anyone point me to a local shop to buy them from?

Have you tried Hobbycraft? I was at my local branch (Northampton) last week and they had a fantastic range of buttons in all sorts of shapes. I definitely saw ones in the shape of little steam trains, so they may have cars too.

I've tried hobbycraft, but thanks for mentioning them. Trains and air planes seem to be really easy to get hold off, but cars just don't seem to be that easy at all.

You will get car shaped buttons from the bottom of the castle market at the sewing/craft stall. They have buttons of all shapes on there. It's over on the far wall, you can't miss it.
