Like the post says....You'd think that the skating rink would do this but they dont. Does anyone have any idea's?

There is a new branch of Puck Stop at the ice rink although the main shop is on Staniforth Road just passed Woodbourn Road (where the trams cross the road on the way to/from meadowhall).

There is a place on industrial estate off rutland rd where my auntie takes hers, but i cant remember what its called. Ice sheffield do sharpen them but not as well as the place on rutland rd.

The shop in ice sheffield has recently changed and is now run by Puck Stop, the sharpening should therefore be a lot better as the Puck Stop shop on Staniforth Road are great for this.

This company manufacture the best skating blades in the country and offer a sharpening service by appointment. Their service is the best available but probably dearer than Puck stop:)

Puck Stop was £4.00 when I had mine sharpened a couple of weeks ago.

Puck Stop are much better at grinding than HD Sports, HD may make the blades, but they suck at sharpening them. Give Puck Stop a try, I think you would be surprised!!!

Also, Puck Stop charge £4.00 and you can just go in and have them done , Hd Sports charge £7.50 and it's by appointment only!!! :loopy:
