Hi there

I've just found out that i'm pregnant. I'm just over 4 weeks but for the last few days i've found it a little uncomfortable to layt on my left side in bed.

I'm not in pain but I have a stretching feeling just under my left bust and down my stomach.

This will be my second child but I don't remember this feeling so early on last time.

Anyone experienced anything similar?

iv never experienced a pain like that myself when iv been pregnant but id go and get yourself checked out by the docs just to make sure....:D

i would get in touch with your midwife fro advice are your GP, just to put your mind at rest, hope things ease for you, and congratulations.

When I had problems last week I called NHS Direct and the nurse that called me back was lovely and gave me plenty of helpful advice. It's a good service to use if you don't have a midwife yet and don't want to wait for a GP appointment.

Luckily I have managed to get an apponintment with my GP tomorrow.

I'm not in pain, it's just a mild discomfort which I have now realised is after I have eaten and then after about an hour and a half it is more or less not noticable anymore. From what I have read on the internet many people have had similar symptoms and it is the uterus stretching.

It seems to be a trapped nerve and nothing to do with being pregnant thankfully.

The doc said not to worry it will ease.
