Is there anywhere in particular I could go to try to find a stolen push bike? I know in London Brick Lane market on a sunday morning is where most stolen bikes end up. Is there anything like that in Sheffield? My precious black racing bike covered in tape and stickers was stolen from my back yard this evening. If anyone sees it please call me on 07513667745.

Sorry to hear that Lilifa, if I see anything will let you know...not that I'm all that familiar with the black market in stolen items...have had it happen enough to me to know how much it hurts. Best of luck, and get on to the cops

What area of Sheffield ?
Enquire with the local community as most of the thieves are well known in the locality to all the locals who have had things stolen.
Once you are 99 percent certain of who the thief is then you may be able to see your goods in transit to the end user. (Most drug users dont tend to have a fitness regime which include cycling as they do not in the main see their bodies as temples and a cycle will not fit into a bag for concealment)
You may then be able to use reasonable force to protect your property
Just below the school in Crookes. It's so quiet up here it really scares me that people are watching us ready to steal stuff. It's not on the way to anywhere. It's all dead ends. Either it's someone who lives in the 5 houses beyond me or somneone prowling for thieving opportunities alone. Either way its a pretty unpleasant thought.

I was being turned over on a regular basis by a neighbour who was known to eveyone including the police (i was not aware being new to the area) and the thieving neighbour was indeed able to keep an eye on my movements ........ food for thought eh.

You could try the police. If they recover it then they do store stuff for people.
