I'll looking to sell my house soon, and the EAs seem to charge a fortune for the HIP (which they then tell me are useless and no one looks at anyway).

Blundells have this at 375+VAT (i.e. £440!!!)
Online for £295 all in..

I assume this is becuase they have a captive market and get commission

I take it I can just provide my own HIP without any come back from the EA?

It doesnt suprise me at all the moralistic, nice, charitable estate agents in this city are trying to scam you
