Does anyone know of any shops in or around the city centre area that sells used PC games for good prices? I live in crookes so anywhere within that kind of radius is good. Thanks.

Try Money Spinners, second hand shop at the Hillsborough corner end of Holme Lane.

There is a specific second hand games shop actually in Crookes, next door to the video shop but I don't know if they do PC games or just console stuff.

There is a place at woodseats, it is near the yorkshire bank, next to the tesco, then the woodseats police station.

For used games, I recommend Playtime Multimedia on Pinstone street.

Just go to the Peace Gardens, head towards the Moor and walk on the left hand side, it's next to a shoe shop and Greggs.

Further down the Moor is Gamestation which also are good, although I prefer eBay over all! :P

However, I will strongly recommend you avoid Castle games, they sold me overpriced pirate games, so I personally avoid them like the plague. :)

Playtime and Gamestation in Town. Sometimes the Game In Debenhams has dirt cheap games as well.

I'll second that. I got hold of a Mega Drive Sonic 3 cartridge from there a couple of years ago. Ah! From the golden age of the blue hedgehog.

Then I went home, put it down next to my stamp-collection, made myself a Thermos of coffee and went trainspotting for several hours...

I drove past a place in Woodseats the other day - opposite the primary school - which advertised themselves as doing second hand games/consoles etc. Might be worth a look....

Can't remember any shops that sell 2nd hand PC games - as far as I'm aware they just tend to be console games. Would like to be told otherwise tho :)

They can't do second hand PC games, cos of anti-piracy laws, because PC games are easy to pirate.

Your not technically supposed to sell 2nd hand console games or rent them either iirc but doesn't stop 'em :)

The one on the Moor opposite Sainsburys does preowned PC games, I'm sure of it.

Ebay though?
