Neither is going to get up there any time soon IMO.

As a lifelong wednesdayite, even I know our problems are going to probably leave us in this division another season (we'll not make it through the play offs even if we make them). After that its goignt o be a long time coming before wednesday are the side they used to be.

As for united, they are like the spanish national side: underachievers. With the players they have got (some of them from wednesday) they should be perfect contenders for top 3 of their division. I don't see how they can keep disappointing their fans by going nowhere, I don't even know what the reason is why they never seem to go up, you can't keep blaming bad luck.

I don't expect either team to get to the premiership any time soon. I'd like either to prove me wrong though, especially wednesday (i may not have any built up resent for SUFC but i can still have favouritism for my team can't I?)

like you cant see the owls going up via the play offs, pity wev only picked up 2 points in last to games as hull and luton tran have slipped up a bit. if they dont make it thro play offs be nice to see them steamroller thro the lg next season. still think my 100 pound bet looks decent value.

If the Blades don't make it up this year, and lets face it they do seem to bottle it at the play offs, then I think your in with a shout.

This won't happen until the American President is a dark skinned person.

As soon as four years then muddy :) President Rice does have a certain ring to it though

I do think Brain Thrust summed it up perfectly, I would love to see both Sheffield teams back in the Premiership, but I think I am off to change my vote and vote for the pope nutting me, it's more likely to happen.

I still maintain United wont be contenders for automatic promotion until we get a decent strike partnership that can score 30+ goals.

Another season of championship football beckons methinks. Hope I'm proved wrong though.

Based on where both clubs are i would say united will be there before the owls but we are a club that falls at the final hurdle.

We need that 20 goals a season striker but i say we have it in the form of beckett but warnock dosnt think so at this moment in time.
