Looked at all the usual places,eg,comet,currys etc. Just thought that someone may know of somewhere i have not tried and does not take an age to deliver.

I just got one from Atkinsons a 37" Panasonic, saw the same t.v in Comet with 1 year warranty, Atkinsons give you 5 years for the same price

Have you tried Asda, there prices for most electrical items are always reasonable
Then again, we went into PC world & purchased a 28in lcd TV for £300 we had seen the same one at Comet for £499 its not a place you would go I suppose to buy a TV but it was worth it for us

I got a TV from ElectroSaver who are based in Bradford, although I went to Bradford they do deliver

Reasonable prices (found them to be cheaper than curry's etc)

Or as already mentioned there is Direct TVs based in Huddersfield (advertising on TV at moment) but not used them myself.

When I was down in That London I saw a 21 year old TV being advertised on a card in a phone box ...... I thought "Nobody'll buy it because you can get a reasonably priced one on Tottenham court road".

John Lewis are very good ,the only reason i didnt get my tv from them was that they didnt have the model i wanted
