All of it matters to an extent.
First you care about money until u get enough to afford things you want and need. Once there u start to care about satisfaction and atmosphere at the workplace and the rest. Its a hierarchical model if I remember correctly, well at least one of the models from management and job incentives.

I think you're thinking of Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs.
