We went to a studio for a photo session, now we had a gift voucher that someone bought for us as a present that granted us two 5x7s and one 10x8 free portraits.

We wanted to get additional ones but the prices at this studio was simply horrendous, i'll give you an example;

A nice wall mounted 40x30 would cost £725.00

I think this place is the dearest around TBH but i had no choice as the voucher by "live the dream" made it clear that i go there.

The studio isn't in Sheffield either but does anyone know if there are cheaper ones around that are in Sheffield?

For a simple small one say 10x8 we were looking at £105.00, it's mega expensive!, it has put me off buying any additions and i rang live the dream up to complain about the high prices, they told me that they will "look into it".

Too right. When I worked in a Pro Photographers, I think it was about £20 for 2 10x8's. Though that's a few years ago.

why don't you come to the Philippines and get it done here? It'd be to the same standard, and it'd cost you around 400 pesos or ten dollars.

you'd even have plenty of money left over from the price of the airfare, which is only around 400 quid return.
