Hi,
I am thinking to relocate to sheffield, as i've got a new job here. Can anyone please let me know which areas are good to live as i don't know much about sheffield.
Secondly, i am looking for a single bedroom furnished house to rent, what could be the monthly rent?
If someone is looking to let a single bedroom house/apartment, please let me know.
Thank you
It all depends on what you like. Do you want studenty, vibrant, quiet and what is your likely budget and do you have a car.

Yes i've a car and i know it will be expensive if i'll look for an accomodation in city center. I am willing to live a bit far.

Are you sure you want to come here, here is a link for you check out this wonderful multicultral city .The STAR is the local paper, the letters page can sometimes reflect the concerns of the local population. Good luck to you but personally IMO Sheffield has had its great times never to return http://www.thestar.co.uk/
First mistake - Car and sheffield City center....
apart from that sheffields great and you will love it ;)
If you have a car you might want to look around the outskirts of Sheffield. You can always use the park and ride to get into town as parking is a nightmare. What kind of budget are you looking at.

Thanks for replies :)
Yes i know parking is a problem in city center. I can even look a bit far. I can afford around ~350 to 380 including c.tax. per month.

But a little expensive. Have a nosey through the property guide you should find something in there. Abbeydale Road tends to have lots of flats above shops for that sort of money. Not quiet at all though. If you look further a field you may get more for your money. You might not get council tax thrown in at that price though.
