Has anyone else noticed the poor service from the orange website?
The login procedure takes about 3 attempts each time with a different error code given.
It's slow as hell.
Right now it won't even load.
Email service is a joke!

Orange are just a big joke. I get nice texts from them in the middle of the night reminding me to top-up and their broadband gets worse by the day.
What happened to this once very professional company?

Didn`t the French take it over?

If you're talking about Orange mobile phones then you've always been paying your money to a French company.
As for the Orange ISP, if you have been a customer since the Freeserve days you can say they've been taken over by the French. If you joined since they became Wanadoo (now Orange), then (again) you've always been paying your money to French company.

Not completely true. Orange was orginally started by a Hong Kong based company before it was purchased by France Telecom 7 years after it was set up.
Freeserve ran for about 4 years after DSG sold it to France Telecom before rebranding as Wanadoo.

That's not what it says here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orange_%28telecoms%29) in the all-knowing, never-at-all-inaccurate Wikipedia... :hihi:

Actually that backs me up. Orange didnt become Orange until it was taken over by Hutchison Telecom who are the aforementioned Hong Kong based company.
The login has improved over the last month or so as it was difficult to see emails and account details. Apart from that I've had no problems with them apart from after the floods when the whole BT & broadband infrastructure went down locally.
