I just saw a great idea on this website (http://www.myrecycledbags.com/2007/05/18/recycled-plastic-grocery-tote-bag/) that looks like a fantastic way to reuse all the hundreds of plastic bags most people have stuffed in a drawer somewhere in their homes. I'm definitely going to have a go at it! What do you think?

i like it!

if you need any extra bags, let me know.

i struggle to reuse mine as bin bags and refuse (excuse the pun) to throw them away without anything in them.

I'd like to have a go at one of these,
but do you cut the bag in to strips and keep knotting it to make a big ball:huh:

Ive seen this on Money Saving Expert too. I was going to have a go but I ended up making one from dishcloth cotton.

I wonder what scissors you would use as surely cutting plastic bags could blunt them? Also I guess you'd have to be careful what color bags you use or could come out looking funny!
