My dad wants to buy mum a better digital camera for xmas, his budget is around £100 (give or take). He's not very net-savvy (or pc-savvy, or camera-savvy!) so he's asked me for help. I've been looking around online but I am baffled. Anyone bought a good camera in this price range recently, that they can recommend to me?

Ideally we would like to buy her one with a rechargeable battery as her current one has it (which is about its only redeeming feature), and i think she'd get annoyed replacing AAs all the time.

Thanks guys

Try this one

Sony Camera (http://www.ebuyer.com/product/136104)

Same as mine & a great piece of kit (but much cheaper than when i bought it!)

I'd buy this one (http://www.purelygadgets.co.uk/prodinfo.php?prodid=4729&start=10&thislist=5~27~84) - 1 GB memory card included.

Edited to add: Under £100 including memory on ebuyer

looks great to me. Do you think it's the best I could get for that price?
