I have done a survey and out of all the films ever made, in which there is a scene where somone bops a policeman, or a soldier or whatever, in order to nick their uniform/clothes in order to get away/escape/gain illegally, never once has the stolen attire failed to fit!

I think this happened in a Laurel and Hardy once - possibly The Flying Deuces

It happened in Raiders Of The Lost Ark, the jacket was too small for Indiana Jones to fasten..

...and Luke was "a little small for a Stormtrooper".

Talking of punching people, in films whenever someone gets thumped it always makes a sound which I have never witnessed when seeing someone get punched in reality. Granted, I don't regularly see people get beaten up, but I thought it was a fair observation.

And how come it's so easy to knock people out in films, you just hit them anywhere on the back of the neck with the but of your gun and they go straight down, they don't just turn round and paste you.

And when they nick the uniform of the bloke they've just filled with 50 odd rounds, there's never any bullet holes.:suspect:

and they do it so quick, I can asure you it takes more than a couple of minutes to strip an unconcious man.

Conversly, in some films, people get punched so many times it's absurd, and still keep going, when in reality they'd be like a sock full of mincemeat.

What I'd like to know is whatever happens to Clark Kent's clothes when he removes them to become Superman--does he ever come back to retrieve them? How can he remember which phone box etc he used? Surely someone finds them (including his wallet and cards etc? He doesn't seem to have pockets in his costume).

This has always puzzled me, ever since I read the comics as a child. I suppose I was always a practical and non-romantic creature.......

And why do women always come downstairs to look for intruders with impeccable hair and make up and the sexiest nightie imaginable?
