I know you probably won't get to read this but I would like to thank the couple from Grindleford in the jaguar car. You very kindly stopped to assist Mick today when he crashed his bike. Loads of other people had already driven past leaving him laying in the road. You were the only people decent enough to stop to see if he was injured and then brought him all the way home from Castleton in case he was in shock. Thank you so much we are very grateful, and we owe you one.

Good to see you up and about Bikertec, to trace the couple from Grindleford you could always pop into the Maynard Arms and ask if anyone knows them, and just have a look around the village to see if you can see the car.

We should always remember that there are far more good people in the world than bad, but good news doesn't sell newspapers.

There still may be decent people in the world, but is very hard to find them!! Example: when I arrived here two days ago, not one person asked if I needed help carrying my luggage, except for an elderly lady! Sometimes, I swear that only the ederly will help someone in a time of need! But I know that there are people, young & old that are decent enough to help someone in a time of need!

Thank you everyone im still feeling like crap. It shouldn't be hard to find them the Gentleman was an ex plumber who has just built his own house in grindleford. I was really too shuck up to get their address so I could thank them properly. Also I would like to thank all the DRIVERS WHO DROVE PAST WHILE I WAS LAID OUT ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD I hope if you have an accident some one stops for you.:(

I personally have never driven, or walked, past anyone that has needed help. I was so shocked that although several people must have seen the accident they all turned a blind eye.
I was so relieved that Mick was alright that I cried. The bike can be fixed, its only money after all. Mick is much more precious. And we will find that couple and thank them properly you can be sure of that, I'm quite a good detective when it comes to things like that. LOL!!:)
Thank you everyone for your good wishes and concern xx

yep,i know what thats like :-(
many moons ago i was hit by some prat pulling out of a junction while on my mountain bike (big hill and i was going too fast ..yeh.. yeh ..ok) id cracked my collerbone and fractured a couple of ribs, the pain was immense, but what i remember most is the sound of all the cars speeding up as they went passed, all the drivers desprate not to "see me" in case they had to stop and help,

realy glad your ok mate,
it could'v been sooo much worse,

Only just spotted this thread, so first off, glad you're OK, and that the bike got sorted.

I know what it feels like, my wife fell off (all her own fault) but loads of people just drove past and avoided the situation. Not helpfull at all. She and the bike were OK, it was only a very low speed spill, but hey, they didn't know that.

I know this might sound like a daft piece of advice, but be careful about showing your reg plate on t'internet, it could be used for cloning.

PS (why are 2 different registration numbers shown on your photos, not bothered, just seemed odd).

Keep it rubberside down.
