Has anyone had any experiences, good or bad, with Ventrolla?

http://www.ventrolla.co.uk/

I've had a leaflet through my door from them advertising sash window restoration. My house has the original sash windows in. Despite being in generally good condition, they are painted shut and could do with a thorough service.

If anyone can recommend any other sash window restorers I would be grateful! I cannot afford to replace them at the moment so please don't suggest anyone or I may get tempted...!

Ta,

Brian.

Hi
you could ring my husband on the number below or on his mobile...07939136401. We have had quite a few happy customers from the sheffield forum. His name is Mark.
Thanks
Rachael

I had a quote from Ventrolla but in the end used a company called Timber Window Repair Services (based in Chesterfield). They did a great job on my windows which were in very poor condition. All were painted shut and some were in a really bad way with rotten sills and big gaps betweend the sashes. I'm really delighted that they managed to save the old windows and I can't believe how well they turned out. In our case refurbishing was about half the price of replacing the windows.
