The missus gets called either monkey or bernard - For the sake of the forum's collective sanity I'll not provide you with the explanation for either!

The ex is refered to as that fat arsed money grabbing cow.

I think we ALL know her mate. I'm on amicable terms with all but one of my ex's and she's known at 'THE' EX because she was such a controlling, manipulative rotter.

*sigh* think nice thoughts, think nice thoughts Pauly!

My other half gets called honey, hun, baby, babe, sweetheart, pretty girl or gorgeous and she deserves every single one of them. :D

I'll leave it up to her to tell you what she calls me. Be gentle please hun.

not really a need for pet names, I call whomever I am with by their first name! I guess you can call me lame for that! Never really got into calling by any other name!

I call my boyfriend "My Sweet" it makes us both laugh because of how insincere it sounds.

My boyfriend calls me Farts or Cheex most of the time but occasionally he will call me either Squashie, Apple cheex or bum onions dont ask me why he's mad, but we have a good laugh about it and I think its kind of cute cos he's a soppy sod.

I call my ex "The Jerk" I think that says it all.

Regards

Jo

Like the murphy's ...... I'm not bitter! : )

My friend and her hubby used to call each other Bunch. Didn't know why for ages, but apparrently it was short for Honey Bunch.

I call my girlfriend Pook - don't ask me why - I don't know.

Draggletail

Mrs Draggletail gets called Big 'Oss quite a lot which is a shame 'cos she has a slender shapely figure.

It's 'cos she eats really healthy food. I once caught her loading a huge bag of oats into the shopping trolley
Thats 'oss food, I shouted
The rest is history:hihi:

Oh, and there are the variations - 'Osstype,
Madame 'Oss, 'Ossville. I'm so romantic :hihi:

I call my bloke "kitten", in the hope that he'll just get fed up of being my kitten and get me a real one.

Had a competition to see who could come up with the cheesiest name (I think I might win after reading this thread), and my best so far is "poppet"... ;)

That's scary, me too - something to do with a kids character called Pookel or something years ago, brother brought it up when we used to work together all over the country - doing over 2000 miles a week in a van together does strange things to you!

We are The L.B.3 or The Dotcoms. (on account of me not being able to use a P.C properley)

She calls me, Boy

I call her, Girl

And we all call the little lad, BoyBoy

We also have tons of different names for our pets.

Sometimes I think theres a lot to be said for the aliens on South Park, that were all called Marklark. Its alot easier.

My other half calls me Cake! I call him M (short for Michael) amongst other things!

He calls our son "blue one" and our daughter "pink one" - says it's easier than remembering their names!

Hmmm... ok! lets be gentle

My pet names for my Mr P would be...
(sick bucket to the ready) :hihi:

Hunni / Darling / Baby / Babes / Monkey / Cherub / Poppet / Pumpkin / Bumbles / Sweet / Bad boy!

My latest is... Hunni Bunny Wunnykins!

Baring in mind he doesnt get called these names all the time... the pet name calling would depend on what kinda mood i was in an what i was after...

If i was annoyed with him... then it would be a stern name...
If i wanted something... then it would be a real soppy name to sweeten him up  (damn let that one slip) :hihi:

Pauly's main pet name for me which he's forgotten to mention is 'Babycakes'... I think thats so cute... an is my fav pet name that he has for me :D

 its not a bad place to be, Msbehavin! :P As I rambled about at great length on another thread, being single does have its benefits  (not having to buy valentines presents for a start.... grr... how difficult is it to buy gifts for men??!)

Back on topic, I can't remember ever calling my ex by a pet name, nor him calling me anything other than my actual name. Hmmm. I call someone at work 'my darling' a lot, but only because he dislikes me enormously and it's an easy way to wind him up :P

Don't think we have pet names other than hun (as in honey, not Attilla).

However, the tv remote control is called "Troley" and we call his name when we can't find him. And the car is called "MC", short for Motor Car.

Anyone else have names for inanimate objects?

We seem perfectly sane compared to some of the posts on here...:)

My beautiful fiance's pet name is Bubba or Pitchford.

Not sure why Pitchford, but it kinda rhymes with his name Richard.

This is the sort of stuff that you cringe about. I always cringe when I accidently say one of the pet names I call my partner during a conversation with someone, lol.

There are many but the pet name of the month is 'My little Urchin' and I am 'Pilchard' lol......god!......CRINGE!!! :D
