For the record, we do not have a problem with general banter on these threads.

We do have a problem with racist, homophobic or otherwise derogatory personal insults and attacks, and with the level of improperly masked swearing and tricking the swear filter that tends to go on with the footie threads.

There are actually quite a small number of words in the swear filter. If you widen your vocabulary you can use colourful and inventive language with neither tricking the swear filter, getting the moderating team annoyed nor offending other forummers.

Keep it that way and we're all happy (apart from the opposing team supporters of course and there's little we can do about that).
