i can view 1871/81/91/01 census online, does anyone know if it is possible to veiw earlier ones on line.

Not that I have found... the Mormon family history site has some info, but it's far from complete.

where can you find 1891 and is 01 the 1901 census?
and are they free?

My parents gave me details of some of my anscestors, but haven't been able to find anyone yet.
Spent ages looking on Mormons but they don't have a thing, related to me. :thumbsup:

I managed to get back to 1730 through various sources. You do have to spend a bit of money though, like with most hobbies.

Ancestry have said that they're hoping to get the 1851 and 1841 censuses online before the end of the year; they've just added the 1861 one. Just a question of waiting!
