cannot reboot laptop help, tried everything but says disk error, cannot reinstall window xp on the partition say disk may be corrupted. thinks it need a hard dive. can someone help where can get a cheap hard drive, its a dell inspiration 1150 laptop. thanks

yes I did try to delete partition but it would,nt let me do it.

firstly just off chance can you disable smart disk error in bios if so do this and just see what happens if thats a no no then
i know you say it wont boot up but firstly do,s it allow you to acess c drive command prompt.If not what boot devices have you is it just cdrom/dvdrom and do you know what make the hard drive is.And do you have the means to burn to a cd on another pc.
