Whose going down and what do you reckon the score will be?

Whilst I know it is hard to go to Ricoh and get something, I believe their best player in Misfud is suspended and Tabb is injured.

What is good to see though from the Blades, is we have only conceded one from our last 4 away games.

Two good away results, but now we need to bring the same form back to Bramall Lane.

Er.... you did? I am? Doubt it

Oh dear Robbie kiss of death pal.

Seems not to be the kiss.

A draw would have been a fair result, but Kenny pulled off a couple of cracking saves.

It seams that the signings of Cahill and Bardsley are crucial at this point.
Did they have good games robbie?

They both played well, Cahill more so.

We won't be signing Cahill, but lets hope we can get him in for a long term loan, the stability he has provided us since he came in has been unreal.

The only game I haven't seen him perform was against Plymouth, and look what happened there.

A great away win for the lads, but we need to start winning at home. What a player young Armstrong is ,a few years ago he was nearly put out of the game due to his bad injuries & he fought his way back ,give credit to the lad for another sterling performence.

For the first 60 minutes Armstrong was anonymous

The important thing was the three points and a clean sheet. For some the glass will always be half empty.

Can ony make my judgement on theRadio commntary ans full match highlights i'm afraid as I live and work in Norwich at the minute so was unable to get to the Ricoh.

But In my honest opinion, United again won the game with a strong defensive performance, we've not been prolific going forward and Robbo isn't really going for the all out attack, he's trying to get them to play football by starting at the back and playing the ball around to create chances, which again I think is working away from home at the minute and fair play to him for that. We seem to be frustrating the opposition at the minute, I mean you look at Coventry yesterday, every bit of danger that they created just got dampened out bit a solid defensive performance, and as well as that they weren't able to create much in Midfield because of a solid Monty and Tongue performance. Theres a big improvement on the pitch in my eyes as he's getting them playing like a unit which is something we didnt see at the beginning of the season.
Bardsley, Cahill, and Killa stood out again for me, they are sooo crucial at the minute and are working well together to form ossibly the leagues best defense at the minute, I just hope we can keep them at the lane for the season??

What I want know also Is, when Cahill goes back to Villa for the christmas period (as his loan ends and cannot be renewed until January 1st) who do we bring into the back 4 to keep things solid?

So is Owen for most game's, but the goal got us a win & I would take that everytime.

Armstrong is a piece in the middle of the park who should always be in the thick of action. Owen is a striker that takes chances when come to him. Ridiculous comparison really.

If we've got a midfield player who does jack diddly squat for an hour every game, and then scores the winning goal every game, I'll be quite happy with that. So would absolutely any manager in the entire history of football.

IF this was the case, I don't think anyone would have a problem, but tell me the last time Armstrong scored a winner. So a ridiculous post? I think so.

Agreed, if Armstrong scored the winner every week I'd love his face off. But he doesn't, so I don't, and we can criticise him for going through the motions on a fairly regular basis.

We are lookin prety solid at the moment and Armstrong has had a part to play in this i assume.
The point is we were conceding all over the place at the start of the season and now things have tightened up, so he is doing his job.
It is the classic way of playing away from home. Frustrate the home team give them as little as possible then hit them on the counter.
We seem to have that down to a tee at the present and long may it continue.
Only lost one in 9 and from that we gained 18 points.
Keep this up and we could still catch the top 2, with a little bit of luck of course.
I agree with an earlier post the acid test will be if we lose Cahill.

You think wrong. He was anonymous for 60 minutes then scored the winning goal; ergo, he was the most valuable player on the pitch.

I don't want it to sound like I think Stretch should be dropped, or that I think he isn't pulling his weight.

It was just, people seem to think because he scored the winner he had a good game, but as said he was anonymous for 60 mins and then got a fortuitous goal.

I'm a big fan of him, and I am happy for him to be in the side, more so than a lot of other players, it just annoys me that people assume things about games when they know nothing about it (and this isn't aimed at you AG :) )

Not necessarily.

Kenny made 2 fantastic saves. So in your theory he would be the most valuable player on the pitch because we would have lost had he not made them.

But anyways, this was not the point. The point was that Armstrong does not score the winner every game, in fact this was the first time he has EVER scored a "winner" for Sheffield United.

Last time I checked, it was mathematically impossible to win a game by not conceding goals. Has there been a rule change since yesterday, are you talking through your hat again?

Your arguements are sadly the worst in the world.
