i i bought a 8gb usb stick but when ever i try put some video's and none of them work on it or corrupt can some one tell me what im doing wrong what file's should i try to check if it works or i should now if it's faulty

i assume the videos work ok on your pc before you put them on the usb
also i assume you mean mpeg or other format you would,nt get many videos on a 8gig

yes the vids work ok on my pc but not when i drop them to the usb and try on anther pc i have tried a few vid format dvd avi xvid dvix the dvd format changes the writing when on the usb the fonts changes to squares and things like that and the other formats say i don't have the right codec

yes it sounds like you need to download a complete codec package for the other pc just search for full codec packs or goto www.videohelp.com
also download this http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ it will tell you what is missing if you get stuck after that.

I got the best codec pack you can get and i also us km player also when i try to delete the dvd file it does not do it

you can have the worlds greatest codec pack dosnt mean to say you got the one for your film run one through gspot and see what codecs there using you must have the correct ones on your origenal pc.They wont delete from what pc the origenal one or both

but they work tok on that pc if i dont use the usb i if i use a ex drive

pmsl so you can put them on the other pc ex hard drive and they play ok

Are you talking about this one? KMPlayer (http://www.kmplayer.com) It doesn't use external codecs (unless you configure it todo so) which is why it's so good and portable to boot.

Run a CHKDSK on the flash stick, can you copy normal files to it and verify they are accessible and working? Can you confirm the stick is good?

Aint got KMplayer never tried running from usb mem but just have no probs all working through all me vid progs convertors ect

no i the stick may be no good and yes it the km play what i used i tryed win rar it worked and i tryed just movie file they work now i just want to know if the disk is a 8gb or less as i got it from ebay and have been told that some of the usb be fake and be 8gb they are reprogramed to say they are

it was not all that cheep but i can't fill it to the max as the only things i have that are large size are music and videos most of the movies don't work so i will try music i have installed klite codec so i will try the movies again

Ebay strikes again! Seriously if the AVI files played ok on your machine BEFORE you copied them over to the stick, why are you installing another codec pack?

From your previous post you stated it may be fake the purpose of the exercise to fill the stick up is to check there's no ebay funny business going on.

that what im saying but even it can add 8gb worth of music it still corrupts my vids and some dont work so even if i can add 8gb it is still worth leass

thanks for that it work i have tryed it on a old usb and now that work soon as i get home i will try the 8gb usb

i have tried that but it has not worked on the 8gb usb as i put on 6gb worth of music but it only work with about half of them so i think the flash disc re coded to show 8gb as it does not work well

did it actually reformat as 8gig with that program

FAT32 format

most of mine are fat32 noticed my larger ones are ntfs dont ask i must have had a reason at the time.

the drive failed to formatt in ntfs format

No because we have established the STICK is probably a chinese fake!

If that program dos not work then nothing will im afraid i dont suppose disk qautos has been enabled i dont see that possible i think you will have to admit defeet to this one.
