The Rawson Spring is huge inside, and they have real ale...
Though I imagine the Shakey does too, as it's a Green King pub. You can see where my priorities lie :hihi:

Apparently the Ball is under new management.
Whatif wewin 30-11-2007, 12:37 I have visited the Ball on 3 occasions over 15 years each time there was a big punch-up.

Was this coincidence ?
One fight every 5 years eh? Shock Horror.
It has been a long time since we have had a Blue Ball bashing thread on here,I was beginning to wonder if it had been converted to a tea room.

you dont have to go in the ball do you,its not compulsary is it,shakey, freemasons & rawson springs are fine, ball & legends stay away from,i live in hillsborough and i know where to go & not where to go listen to the master.
hillsborough is fine, take it or leave it... some pubs are like a youth club... blue ball.. the shakey is fine... and so is the crown on penistone rd. I know some people slag off the pubs in hillsborough but, id go to hillsborough for a pint rather than town... town is over priced and over rated. As for fights in hillsborough.... like that doesent happen town out side clubs or any area... pubs dont make the fight people do.
