I'm slightly addicted to these things, and can rarely restrain myself from having a go if I'm in the pub. I was just wondering if anyone had any favourite games, tips for winning, that sort of thing.
I'm a fan of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? and Hangman 2 myself. Bullseye, a fairly new addition to the genre, is also pretty good.
As for handy tips, I find that Millionaire will pay out comfortably if the £1 prize is stationed at the £8,000 mark or below. Any higher, and keep your money in your pocket.
Anyone else?
Pharoah's Treasure or Around the World in 80 Days...so much money thrown at those flashing lights.

I quite like the Cludeo Game, quite a lot too it, especially if you have had a couple, but its great if your sober.
Hangman 2 is great
Strike it rich has to be my fav. I like the fact that it shows you for a brief second all the way to the jackpot. If you have three people playing then you can pop ya fingers on the winning path. - This machine did me goos at uni. :D
Not strictly a quiz but...Crystal Maze....you just dont see them anymore these days :(

Good call - though it was more than a little tricky to pick out the gold tokens at the end!
I love any quiz machines,
my favs are cluedo....its easier to collect suspects and win a fiver than to go for the jackpot.
I also like matrix won a few quid on it once but theres no tips think it was just ready to pay out

I tend to prefer music quizzes - like the Top Of The Pops one in the Nelson last year.
Basically, it didn't charge you, so I just played until I took a tenner out.
Wrong? Yes, of course it was. But, it did go straight back in to the Nelson's till. So maybe not so bad in the end.
