Just though I'd wish everyone a happy Groundhog Day. I went out of the house today and saw my shadow... although i'm not a groundhog I have a feeling that we will have six more weeks of winter. :suspect:

Bit late but Happy Groundhog day for 2007 - apparently Phil didn't see his shadow and therefore Spring is here!

Phil is predicting an early spring. Some say he is also predicting global warming.

Don't worry ... Phil has been wrong far more often than not, in the last 100 years.

The saying actually goes a long way back before the groundhogs; 2nd February is Candlemas, and the "official" middle of winter. The Times had a small article about it today.
