i bought an HD tv today when i got home i was hoping i could just plug my box 360 in to it with the xbox 360 HDMI cable
when i went to plug it in to my xbox 360 i discovered there was not an HDMI slot on my xbox 360
i have the core system is there anyway i can use my xbox 360 in HD mode

Buy either a VGA cable (if your TV has that input) or a component cable (these come as standard with premium xbox360s.)

I use a MS VGA cable, there are other advantages to getting the VGA cable too. These are £15 delivered from gameplay.com.

Don't buy third party cheap cables, stick with MS cables.
