Motorists Forum - tell council what you think of city roads
DO you want to help get Sheffield on the move?
The Star has teamed up with the City Council to create a new Motorists Forum and this is your chance to become a delegate or pinpoint Sheffield's traffic hotspots and make your opinion count.
Its inaugural meeting will take place on Thursday, December 20 at 4.30pm in committee room 3 at Sheffield Town Hall.
The forum will build on the work already tackled by a 'Transport Round Table' summit which has held several meetings to discuss transport in Sheffield.
The new forum will offers you the opportunity to exchange views about traffic in the city generally and also consider information about forthcoming road schemes - giving feedback from the motorists' perspective.
The forum is expected to meet quarterly and its meetings will last between an hour and an hour and a half.
The whole aim is for it to be as representative as possible of motorists across the city so it is down to you get in touch.
There is still the opportunity to make suggestions for organisations or individuals that could serve on the forum and also for agenda items for the above meeting.
Send them to Greg Challis, Development, Environment & Leisure, Development Services, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield S1 2SH, call 0114 275 3303 or fax: 0114 273 5002
