It's a daft thing but I have got a shirt that I particularly like - it fits perfectly and I love it but it's getting a bit worn now. Does anyone know if I can take it to someone to have a new identical one made and if so, who could do it for me?

Is buying another an impossibility?
I'm quite sure a dressmakerr could do this for you.
I've done this myself in the past it's not difficult. It's not always easy to find a replacement

I have a C&G in fashion design (another random evening course whilst I was working :P) and I used to make patterns from clothes that fitted especially well. The down side is you have to unpick the item and use the pieces to make up a master pattern. The plus side is, you can loadsa new shirts :P
i ripped my fav shirt running down some stairs and it catching on the bannister (i carried on running and left the shirt behind)
for the rest of the day AT WORK! i looked like i had borrowed tarzan's clothes.
never found a shirt i liked as much :(

I've done this on many many occasions - either with a bannister or with a door handle. Luckily I have never ripped a shirt this way.
I can't buy another of these shirts because I've already had it about 3 years! Having another one made is something i have been meaning to look into so thanks for your replies.
