hi went to see my midwife yesterday and she said relation to brim was 3/5.
im nearly 35 weeks pregnant now so is this an indication of things starting?
please:help:

As far as I am aware, it means that they can feel 3/5ths of the head above the brim of the pelvis, so 2/5ths of the head is engaged. It's not normally an indication of anything starting (unfortunately!), but just means baby's head is slowly moving into position. This can still change if they manage to 'disengage'. If this is not your first baby, then engagement may happen only just before labour.

At 36 weeks pregnant, i wonder where my little one lies?!

my first babies head was fully engaged from about 36 weeks and she was two weeks late, i had to wee alot though!! number 2 didn't engage till iwas 7 cm dilated.

I'm 1/5 engaged at 32/33 weeks :) I kinda figured as bump had dropped a bit and there's a lovely constant pressure on my poor bladder :(

Midwife is happy that pumpkin will now stay there and just get deeper in the next few weeks :)

I'm 37 + 3 weeks pregnant, midwife said i was 4/5 engaged at last appointment on monday - feels like it too :suspect:

Yay! mine is 3/5ths engaged, all in the space of a week...raspberry leaf tea, i am telling you!
