After I'd said I wasn't going to think about it at least until I'd handed my dissertation in, and Caroline very kindly offered to lend me one to have a go :blush:
Anyway, I put a bid in on a wheel on eBay, thinking I would be very quickly outbid, and I wasn't! So now I have myself a new toy and I haven't finished my work, so it will have to wait.

I haven't done any spinning for ages, but when I did I found it very meditative and calming, so it may actually be great for mental breaks whilst writing up Becky (or shouldn't I be saying that?).
