Hi thats brought back memories. My brother worked for Stevie Splash who went on to own a nightclub in town. I used to love it as a kid going round the discos on a weekend with him
Kirkbyales 10-04-2011, 08:55 Hi folks,
Joybringer Mobile Roadshow was run by a group of friends. Keith , Paul and later on Mick were DJ's with Alan and our girlfriends on support.
Many happy memories, we also played Weston Park in the hot summer of the Queen's Jubilee with Colin Slade of Radio Hallam.
I am Paul Gregory and I love the tall, slim and dark description! Cheers. Big up to Tans who I see at Sheffield Live!
crookesey 10-04-2011, 11:16 I bumped into Alan Dale in the Tesco Express in Totley the other day, he's 67.
Ray Banks who used to run roadrunner disco is a mate of mine, sure there will be people who remember him (there are other threads about roadrunner on the forum) he also had a record shop on Bellhouse rd. He is fit and well!
mickginda 09-08-2011, 23:30 I remember joybringer with fondness, I ran Aquarius Disco (remember 2 lads making oil wheels). Still have one of your old cards...."8 track stereo - prismatics and light optics"
Those were the days..
