I tracing my family history and would be pleased to know if the Beaumont side of the family still survives today. It would be nice to make contact and swap family history notes.

Although I've researched the Beaumont line back many years the best starting point is a Walter Beaumont who was born in Wadsley Bridge in 1876. In 1900 I believe he married a Rosalie Agnes Atkin. In the 1901 census he is living in Handsworth with his wife Rosalie and is a coal miner. I have no information about any children but do know that between the years of 1901 and 1910 more than 70 Beaumonts were born in the district of Sheffield which, I understand, includes the sub-district of Handsworth.

Anybody able to enlighten me?
