We recorded the 1st part of Cranford yesterday and watched it tonight. I was convinced that the character, Jem - the one with the badly damaged arm - was played by the actor who was Andy McDonald in Coronation Street a few years ago. Mr Godzilla said that I was 'bonkers' and 'deluded'. Please confirm (that I'm bonkers) or tell me that I can spot faces.

No, Coronation Street wasn't around in 1842, it only started in the 60's.
