Do you think Ronnie Moore is being treated fairly by the board at Rotherham? He has had no money to buy in new players, yet he has brought Rotherham Utd to the best position it has been in for years.

I think that the board ought to take a long hard look at all the good things Ronnie has done for the club, and the sacrifices he has made to get the club he loves through what have been some of the best few years that it has ever known.

I think it's time the Board backed him and he had at least until mid way through next season to show how he can once again become the saviour of Rotherham.

I think Rotherham need to take a leaf out of Crewe's book and look at how they have stuck by their manager Dario Gradi. He's been there manager for about a decade now I think and he's never had any money to spend, about the same attendances as Rotherham and he's done ok for them overall. Ronnie is very similar, if it wasn't for him they'd never even had got as high in the league as they have done. It was only a couple of seasons ago that people were even mentioning the possibility of Rotherham getting promoted to the premiership when they were near the play off places and playing well.

They need to stick with him, what better manager will they get? Saying that though, if I was Ronnie i'd walk out now after the way they are treating him, sod waiting to the end of the season.

No doubt about it, Ronnie Moore has been a revelation for the Millers. If it wasn't for him they'd probably be a York City by now. (If you're going to look where York are, all I can say is keep going.)

However, the new board don't want him, that's their choice and everyone knows Ronnie could walk into a bigger, better job tomorrow. Good luck to him!

I'm a Bladesfan at heart but I take my hat off to Ronnie Moore. Whichever way you look at it, Millers fans deserve better and you never know, a new face might jig things up a bit. Whether Ronnie goes now or in summer hardly matters. Certainly, if he is no longer wanted, I'd be inclined to go and to start earning the money and success elsewhere.

I do feel sorry for Ronnie, but I suppose the new board have to have the final say and they must have their reasons.

I do take my hat off to the Rotherham fans though for supporting him even now when they are looking at probable relegation and a season of playing minor clubs like the Owls etc.
Most teams' supporters would have started calling for the manager's head ages ago.. like some are calling to sack the managers of teams around the play-off places in the Championship! We should all learn something from the Rotherham fans.

So they have finally forced Ronnie out of a job....sorry he left by "mutual consent" yeah right. Good luck Ronnie and I hope some sensible club offers you the chance to rub the Millers board well and firmly in the dirt.

But at the end of the day, football is a results business. Unfortunately, loyalty is a commodity that is very rare in the football business.

This seasons side is the one that Ronnie Built. And it is blatently not good enough for the division.

I accept you can only work with the resources given you. But that is the case with any job. You can only compete above your station for too long. £600K loses for the past 12 months say that, depite gaining £1.5 million in transfer fees. That gives an operating loss of over £2million. For a club on 5,000 attendances that is unsustainable.

The board is there to manage the business. And they could not see Rotherham going back up with Ronnie in charge if they went down. Simple.

He has been a tremendous servant for Rotherham but sometimes a change can be for the better. Ronnie has been there an eternity in football management terms and it appears the clubs progress has become static. He has taken them as far as he can and it's time to step aside and move on to pastures new.

I suppose they could have opted to give him a job upstairs but I'm not sure Rotherham's wage structure could accommodate that.

And I hope they go down because Mark Robins left us at Burton yesterday having just signed a contract extension and without telling Cloughie he was leaving!! Mercenary.
