Great minds and all that, Owdlad.

Has anyone booked any flights yet? Some of the early offerings from Thompson looked good value. Wouldn't mind giving the Dublin route a go, dunno how they make money at those prices.

My brother has got some cheap flights to Prague Jock, I am not sure of the exact price but he was very happy with them.

By not covering contingencies. If you're diverted, you catch your own bus/train home from birmingham. If you miss the flight, tuff. No allocated seating - it's a free for all. They overbook to ensure full capacity, and if you're not a the front of the queue - tuff, you're on the next plane.

No frills. No service. Just bums on seats.

If that's what you're after then it's fine. There's just no point in expecting BA service along with it.

Strix, 95% of the people you see jumping up and down on that Airline programme have failed to grasp what you describe in your post.

You get what you pay for.

Nothing very interesting there then, after all the talk about runway length etc.Prague looks to be about the furthest you can go. It looks to be catering for stag night crowds. No long haul interest yet ?

I beleive the long haul flights will be anounced in the near future, with the U S being at the top of the list.
Still a shame about Sheffield though.

Yes, hopefully more routes coming soon from finningley. There are lots of rumours but there always are. Best waiting for official announcements.
