Hi,

I have a BMW and yesterday when I started the car on the dashboard the outside temp read +3 degrees c. Unusuallly it flashed and made a warning noise when normally it doesn't. It was fine when driving and just stayed at +3 without flashing. I can't find anything relating to this in my manual. Any ideas why it flashed and made a noise?

Thanks.

It went through a miniature wormhole and found itself in the 70s at the height of disco and thought.. "When in Rome..." ?

Probably an ice warning.

My car has a little snowflake icon on the display when the temp drops to 3c.

Yup. It'll be a "low temperature, roads may be icey" warning.

It's an ice warning. It makes a different warning if it reaches 0 or lower as well.

Mine just flashes when it reaches 0.
