what do you think of people who use a soup kitchen?

They sleep rough and have no money (or little) so are in need of this type of charity.

Should I think something different?

I agree with DaB, but think the word charity sounds patronising. I prefer to think of them just being in need of help.

None of us know what the future holds, and in years to come any of us could be in the sorry position of these people who are often there because of reasons beyond their control.

i agree with them the people that run them do so on a voluntary basis last year they were advetising for volanteers to help out i know the sally army run one but this one was a 1 man band type who needed some helpers steve ...
