Hi Dizzymink. Is it just boxing your after? or are you also thinking kick boxing? more girls seem to take up the latter as you get the best of both worlds. All the skills for boxing,a good variety of kicks, and an excellent cardio workout. xx

Go to Sheffield Boxing Centre on Burton Street in Hillsborough. It is run by Glyn Rhodes who is a really good trainer and great with kids, women and men. He does a womens class which was on tuesday and thursday nights the last i knew and it is sooo cheap. Class is about 6 or 7 o clock.

Knox Boxing Gym is behind decathalon and just few doors down to the former niche nightclub. Caters for men and women.

Sessions are:

Mon-Thurs 1700-1900
Fri 1500-1700
Saturday 1100-1200

Steve is a great trainer and pushes you hard but is always fair at the same time. He's like your second father!
