I don't know a lot about the technical aspects of Computing though I've been assisted a great deal by users of this forum.

But I believe, because the 5.25" floppy for the Apple II was formatted using 72 Concentric Circles and divided into 13 Sectors, whilst it is standard formatting now to use 80 Circles (TPI) and 16 sectors, a emulator for the Apple II is not available. I believe it is for a Apple Mac.

I hope Someone else corrects this. I'm only a old faggett at this game!!

Thank you and I'll look into the link and relevant information.
I'm going to have a look, I learn something every day.
Though I still think it is going to be a job of getting hard copy printed off, (if a word processing programmes available,) then scanning the result and use OCR to convert it.

Then again would all this inconvenience be worth the while!!

If you do find one to borrow, there is a free disk transfer utility called ADTPro (http://adtpro.sourceforge.net/). You can connect the machines together for the transfer using audio leads - so you won't actually need a floppy drive on your PC!

Just found this (http://www.oldskool.org/disk2fdi) which will apparently read apple disks on a PC.

I'll look into, including contacting people named on the threads and to all suggestions but I've a feeling that it will all come down to acquiring the use of a Apple II with a 5.25" floppy drive and Format 80.
Any further suggestions please regarding me getting information off a old 5.25" floppy that was formatted on a Apple II?

Nothing ventured, Nothing gained, but you always learn something.
