I am a first time buyer and relatively new to Sheffield.
I am looking to buy a house that is in between where I work (up Penistone Road towards Barnsley) and Town.

I have seen a couple of houses that I really like around the Langsett Rd and Bamforth St Area. Fist of all would somebody be able to tell me if this is classed as Hillsborough or Walkley?

What are these areas generally like? In terms of crime, noise, shopping, facilities, going out etc.

Any idea what a 3bed semi-detached house around here should cost? Is £125,000 too much?

Any help would be much appreciated!

bamforth street is classed as hillsborough langsett estate is classed as lower walkey plenty of shops and pubs in hillsborough also morrisons in the old barracks its on tram route plenty of buses not sure bout house prices tho better of trying estate agents in hillsborough there reeds rains also theres one at hillsborough tramstop at traffic lights
