I will hopefully be getting some cheap flyers done and handing them out - although don't hold me to his - life is hectic at the moment and I don't know what will happen tomorrow let alone on Saturday.

T-Shirts could be an excelant way to promote the forum ...

Maybe white T-Shirts with black text ...

chat with sheffield folk
@
www.sheffieldforum.co.uk

and if several people are wearing them ... maybe they'd be noticed more?

Thank you! :D

Do as Katie says, we need all the support Sheffield can give us.

PS Tell me, Katie, are you a member, or are you working for SWT? Just wondering if I know you...

I'll come n say hello Cosy when I'm there. May even hand out a flyer or 2 while I'm also helping out Geoff! Provided geoff is there of course!

And visit MoonMaiden, of course, DB! I think we've got her all sorted out with a space now.

Weather: a lot of the stalls will be under shelter, so even if it rains (which of course it won't) there'll be plenty of shelter and plenty to do. So don't abandon us!

Opening times: 10.30am till 5.30 pm both days

Come visit the Wildlife Trust - your very own local Sheffield Wildlife Trust. We'll be in the horticulture tent. You can find out all about our work around Sheffield, win prizes, get involved in making hurdles (the fence kind, not the athletics kind, lol), and even make something out of metal to go into new fencing on Norfolk Park and Arbourthorne. We will be selling our very own local produce, and some cool merchandise. You may even meet me, you lucky ducks:P

See you ALL there!

Any chance of some directions (where to park etc.) for those that don't know the area too well?

Thanks

Parking will be off Norfolk Park Road. That is, the bottom of the park. £2 parking - and don't people dare complain, it's one of the only ways we can support this event. Of course, there are excellent public transport links to Norfolk Park - especially the trams, so use those wherever possible...
There should be directional signs all over to help people walk from tram/bus stops, drive to the car park. But last year some bright sparks took them down almost as soon as they went up.

See you ALL there!

Any more queries, just ask - I'll try to keep checking. Only reason I seem to have been on constantly is cos I keep forgetting to log off when I leave the room/ go home...so I'm not really here most of the time, I'm preparing. Honest.

PS had a photot shoot last night...keep an eye out on those papers and you may see a very strange side of Cosy...

cosywolf

Any on Park Grange Road - just depends if you want to walk up or down to the park.

Is there a reason to why you want copies?

Each one will be about 5 meg in size not extactly emailable in large quantities.

Walk up Granville Road (on the right hand side), a little more than half way up you will come to a zebra crossing. There are some very old victorian lamps practically next to it. When you are next to them, look to your immediate right and you will see large black gates, that is the entrance to Norfork Park. Those big black gates may be closed (probably to stop traffic), but there is an open entrance to the left of these gates. Walk up the road/path and about couple of minutes later, you can spot the fun fair part.

There is someone there in bright yellow/green top, who may stop you if you walk pass and s/he will point out that Sheffield fayre is on today and point you in the right direction.
That why I said walk up on the right hand side.

Granville Road is the road that split the "The Sheffield College" campus in half (Formally known as "Granville College").

There are plenty of other routes, but this is easier to explain for me.

Get yourself there, it is a good day out and there is plenty to do and see - unlike Sheffield show, this is free and far less comerialized.

By the way Moon Maiden. How can I spot you? Where is your stall and what should I lookout for?

Get on a tram going towards Crystal Peaks. (i.e one not going to meadowhall!) I guess its only a couple of stops from town - its very close to Castle College.

Its the pink splodge in the middle of this map, you can just see the railway station at the top left hand side :

Get yerslef down there. It was really good this afternoon. Different at least!

We are next to one of the entrances to the tent of which there are two.
I is blonde and there are t shirts hung up round the stall and it has cauldrons in it :d
