I second on this one, just moved here from Vancouver and would be down for this. My skills are rusty and I was never gifted with basketball height but hey there was always Muggsey Bogues and Spudd Webb.

Identikit : i have just been informed that they hold an open session at the Univertsity of Sheffield every Sunday 12 - 2 @ £3 to run. I will check it this Sunday and report back.

Height is not everything by the way, spud webb was jumping out of buildings as if he switched of gravity!

Let me know for sure! Spud Webb had springs put in his legs by the government, that's all there is to it!

can you let me know what this session is like? I'm really bad at basketball these days, and I'm way out of shape but I used to love the game when I was younger and I'm looking for a way to get back into it without having to visit one of the public courts full of angry kids! Thanks for any info you can give

midgeowl - no i have never played for them. I have played in local london leagues(divison 1). I now mostly play pick up games since i cant fit in practice with uni work and work.

Yep i saw the competition (2006), but here is were l take an opposing opinion; I think Andre Igoudala should have won that competition. Not hating on Nate but Andre's dunks were hot fire, anyway i would have been more impressed if Nate had dunked over someone a bit taller than Spud.

Thats my two cents over that matter,
